English Last

One way of better understanding and more rewarding reading in English is read books in Spanish. Not in English in Spanish. To explain this opinion, I use the example of a book which deals with Shakira. I don’t know much about pop music and even less about Latin music. Then hope may not seem rude if I say that I knew very little about Shakira, the super star daughter for Colombia, before arriving in Colombia in 2003. After a few months here I knew very well who she was, but it was not until I saw her on television and hear her speak English really got attention. This, I thought, is a woman who has worked very hard and has ear for languages (really obvious, because it is a songwriter and singer Awards). This article is not a critique of the book Shakira woman full of grace by Ximena Diego (Simon & Schuster) but I have chosen this book that fits well with my argument that, for purposes of study, you should read any book in their language before reading it in English.

Then, when I read in English last what I mean is first read in their language. The book should be readily available in both languages, should be interesting and enjoyable, and must be written in an acceptable English. Which leads me to Shakira. I got my English version of his biography from Amazon when I was in England. I gave assumed that the Spanish version would be (was easily available in Medellin). Is the book accessible? If. Is it enjoyable? That the more you like Shakira more obviously good, going to like the book. While most identify and support outstanding latino success, more you going to like.

The story is exceptional and the author makes great efforts to explain that, talent, is also extraordinary. He is supported from the beginning that the book is compiled of published articles and interviews with people who know the artist, but it does not contain information from the same Shakira or many of his close friends. This makes it difficult to the author be close and personal. But this is not what is not. Is it written in good English? Yes, certainly. If you will allow me another slogan, usable words you have in a decent grammatical context. It is a journalistic work of great resonance and you can rely on their English; You will not confuse it. Read in their first language. Leave it for a few weeks and then read in English. It is not a good idea to read the English version immediately. I believe that this method will serve for the vast majority of books choose something interesting, perhaps a book that you know very well in Spanish, and then you can read it in English much more profitably. And, as importantly, make it a habit. You have to read books in English if you want to speak English currently, but what you read should be entertaining, not literature or serious and heavy books.

The Purchase

Now well. There are too many other occasions for purchase, among them: filling shopping purchases for emergency purchases by celebrations purchases of fresh products and others. These purchases are usually made by convenience, and hence the name often given these separate supermarkets, convenience stores. A visit comes to you, you want to give them something. You won’t be moved far since its visitors are in your home. You will be walking or the your vehicle but at the convenience store more close. You do not change much post which does not expect to meet so many people in that little corner supermarket.

It is a visit to whom you want to provide something to take or eat and need to complement what you have in your home. Another example is the children’s snacks. Although we bought them at the end of the month, normally do not buy as much as for a full month for several reasons, among them how much more snacks to put in your pantry most children quickly eat them (not is because but true) that means that next week, we have quite possibly to make a purchase of Filling. The purchase of fresh products is the another occasion of purchase that makes that we stop passing to the House in the supermarket more nearby. We need bread, milk, bananas and other products that we can not save much time in the pantry since that is damaged. In the purchase of the month we carry these products also but again, not for the whole month since that perish in days, like bread and bananas. Then, you must buy them normally in a quick stop in the day way to work or out of work. Currently we are tired, we want to get home and are not willing to enter in a supermarket in great surface. We don’t want to walk, do not want to deal with rows in boxes for payment, do not want to fight with a parking lot and so we.

More than six billion people inhabit our planet Earth, 4000 million are non-Christians and 2 billion Christians are considered. Nearly all of the 2 billion Christians base their beliefs in a single book: the Bible, however, Christianity is fragmented into thousands of different faiths or denominations. Each of the religions (Christian or not) believes that he possesses the truth, and that therefore, all others are in error or in darkness (or at least, misguided and Penumbras) religions have divided, fragmented, decimated, confronted and confounded the inhabitants of our planet. Atheists against believers; Believers against believers, Pagans against believers. Christians against Pagan, Pagans against Christians, Christians against Christians.

The God of darkness has darkened the hearts and minds of the inhabitants of our planet (2 Corinthians 4: 4) facing each other, battle fields, both in the field of beliefs. The divine light has been overshadowed by ideas and human doctrines. Religions have numbed the conscience of the peoples, establishing doctrines and philosophies impregnated with the stench of human selfishness, rather than the perfume of love, grace, forgiveness, salvation and peace that emanates from the ordeal. Thousands of creeds and religions (Christian or not) have created a confusion as large as what happened in the Tower of Babel. Some faiths have fostered the horror and terror. The martyrs ever, sooner or later became inquisitors and martirizadores. If every Christian will stop to think for a moment that the truth is not a doctrine, but a person, there would be no fragmentation within Christianity, but a unity in Christ. Jesus Christ was not, is not, nor will be: Catholic, Orthodox, or Protestant. Jesus Christ is, was and will be the only truth, the only light, the only way and therefore the only doctrine (John 14: 6). Jesus Christ re-liga mankind with God; Jesus Christ is the only true religion.
