This work presents the definitions of the tourism of events and the religious tourism, with intention to make the junction of the two and to exemplificar as this type of segmentation can be of great value for certain regions where the tourism of beach and sun does not exist, thus making with that new alternatives to attract tourist and even though to the local population are adopted. 1. INTRODUCTION This article has as objective to present and to characterize the tourism of religious events in the interior of the Rio Grande of the North, being given emphasis in the party of Sant?
