One way of better understanding and more rewarding reading in English is read books in Spanish. Not in English in Spanish. To explain this opinion, I use the example of a book which deals with Shakira. I don’t know much about pop music and even less about Latin music. Then hope may not seem rude if I say that I knew very little about Shakira, the super star daughter for Colombia, before arriving in Colombia in 2003. The story is exceptional and the author makes great efforts to explain that, talent, is also extraordinary.
